What’s in this video

I start with a quick talk about Florida life and the projects coming up on the channel, then build a PVC scupper cart for my latest kayak. It cost me about $25 and it works great.

I used 10″ wheels, five 3/4″ tee fittings, 3/4″ PVC pipe, PVC cement and primer, 5/8″ threaded rod with a nut and washer kit, and a pipe cutter. Not every kayak is the same, so treat this as a reference for making a cart sized to your own boat. Notice I don’t measure anything.

Quick takeaways

  • Parts: 10" wheels, five 3/4" tees, 3/4" PVC, 5/8" threaded rod with nuts and washers.
  • You can use stainless screws instead of PVC cement and primer.
  • Size the cart to your own kayak's scupper holes; my build cost about $25.
