Body Glove Inflatable Paddle Boards and Hybrid Kayak at ICAST
After a year on two Body Glove inflatable paddleboards, I check out their new boards and inflatable paddleboard kayak hybrid at ICAST 2018.
What’s in this video
For the past year or so I’ve owned two Body Glove inflatable paddleboards. They’ve been reliable, durable, fast and easy to bring on road trips in our compact car. Now Body Glove has new boards and an inflatable kayak and paddleboard hybrid, so I went through them.
I cover the Mariner XL, the board updates, the hybrid, their water shoes and the standard Mariner. These boards are easy to paddle and get up to speed. You can strap a cooler on and sit on it, and they’re great for fishing. The triple layer stringers keep the board stiff so it performs like a hard board.

Quick takeaways
- Inflatable boards pack down small enough for road trips in a compact car.
- Strap a cooler on and you've got a seat for fishing.
- Many mount companies make inflatable mounts, so these boards are easy to rig.
