Inflatable Paddle Board Durability Test After Two Years of Use
I put my nearly two year old inflatable paddle board through a durability torture test to see how tough iSUPs really are.
What’s in this video
In this one I torture test an inflatable paddle board I’ve owned for nearly two years. Before these tests it spent 8 months in my backyard, fully inflated at 15psi, baking in the Florida sun. I cover the paddle boards, talk about weight, and then get into the durability testing.
I’m very impressed with how tough these boards are. Most people I meet are surprised they’re inflatable at all. They look like a fiberglass board, but I think they’re much more durable.
Key moments
Quick takeaways
- My board held up after 8 months fully inflated at 15psi in the Florida sun.
- A good iSUP looks like a fiberglass board but, in my experience, is more durable.
- A 12v electric pump makes inflating a paddle board much easier.
