What’s in this video

Foam practice golf balls are cheap, and I found they work great for kayak and fishing projects. In this short video I walk through a few of the uses I came up with, using nothing more than the balls, some paracord and a carabiner.

I start with a quick rundown of uses, then show how a foam ball works as a scupper plug, and finish with how I use them on bungees. Each one takes about 2 to 3 minutes to build. These are just a few ideas, so if you have your own uses for them, I want to hear them.

Key moments

Quick takeaways

  • The supply list is short: foam practice golf balls, paracord and carabiners.
  • Each project takes about 2 to 3 minutes to build.
  • A foam golf ball can work as a quick, cheap scupper plug.
