The AirVolution Pro uses high-pressure drop-stitch chambers to give it hull speed close to a hard shell, with an open deck that is easy to get on and off. It has a high-back adjustable seat, an adjustable foot brace, below-deck storage and bungee lacing. Setup takes about five to ten minutes once you know the routine.
Specs at a glance
- Length: 13 ft
- Width: 33 in
- Weight: 39 lbs
- Capacity: 300 lbs
- Type: 1-person sit-on-top
- Material: high-pressure drop-stitch PVC tarpaulin
- Included: dual-stage pump, electric inflator, roller duffel, repair kit, tracking fin
Good to know
- Use the pump’s pressure gauge every time; the hull only paddles like a hard shell at full pressure.
- Install the tracking fin before launching, since it keeps the boat running straight.
KayakDIY take: This is one of the inflatables that changes people’s minds about what an air boat can do. To compare boats, see all my kayak reviews.
