The V-Eight Fisher uses flexible foam panels that move with you and a front-entry YKK auto-locking zipper. Multiple front pockets hold tackle and tools, and a rear stash pocket adds storage without interfering with high-back seats. It is USCG Type III approved with 16 lbs of buoyancy.

KayakDIY take: Ventilation is what keeps a PFD on in July, and that’s when you need it most. For more gear ideas, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
