The EZ Roller V-Rack uses a 39 in wide, shallow V cradle on a powder-coated steel frame, with rollers built into the rack to ease loading and unloading. It carries boats in the traditional bottom-side-down position. Because the V is shallow, Suspenz does not recommend it for most multi-chine recreational and touring kayaks.
Specs at a glance
- Width: 39 in
- Frame: heavy-duty powder-coated steel
- Loading: integrated Roller-Assist rollers
- Carry position: hull side down
- Not recommended: Wilderness Pungo, Hurricane Prima, most Eddyline sit-insides
Good to know
- Check your hull shape first: multi-chine rec and touring kayaks may not sit securely in the shallow V.
- Add bow and stern lines on every trip, especially with a wide, heavy fishing kayak on the roof.
KayakDIY take: Rollers make a real difference when you’re loading a heavy boat by yourself. For more ways to set up your kayak, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
