The Oasis runs two MirageDrive 180 drives with Kick-Up Fins and ARC cranks, so both paddlers can pedal forward and reverse. Vantage CT seats adjust for height and recline, and storage includes four hatches, a generous deck area and molded-in rod holders. Hobie’s Twist and Stow rudder folds away when not needed, and it can also be paddled solo.

Good to know
- Pull both drives before carrying or loading the 96 lb hull, and plan on a cart and two people.
- Each seat is rated to 275 lbs, so check both paddlers against that, not just the 550 lb total.
KayakDIY take: Two drives make a tandem a lot more fun for both people. For the details, read my full Hobie Mirage Oasis review.
