The kit (model 740222-1) mounts MEGA Live separately from the trolling motor steering, so Spot-Lock still works while the sonar holds a direction you lock in. It can be controlled from the included MEGA Live foot pedal, the Humminbird display, the trolling motor pedal with Minn Kota Steer, or an optional hand remote.
Specs at a glance
- Model: 740222-1
- Trolling motor fit: Minn Kota Ultrex and Ultrex QUEST, 60 in shaft only

Good to know
- Check your motor model and shaft length first: this version fits 60 in Ultrex and Ultrex QUEST motors only.
- MEGA Live Sweep and Minn Kota Steer control need extra parts (a heading sensor and i-Pilot Link), so confirm your setup before counting on those features.
KayakDIY take: This is a trolling motor part more than a typical kayak add-on, so make sure your setup matches before you commit. For more sonar options, see my kayak fish finder guide.
