The XPD is based on Kokopelli’s Rogue-lite platform but uses heavier 1000d reinforced PVC for the sidewalls and floor, with welded seams. It is rated for lakes, oceans, flat water and Class I rivers, has six stainless steel D-rings for lashing gear, and comes with an inflatable seat, pump and repair kit. An optional TiZip adds storage inside the tube.

Good to know
- Recommended pressure is only 3 PSI, so the included Nano Barrel Pump is all you need; don’t overinflate it.
- The XPD is rated for calm water up to Class I, so look at a spraydeck model if you plan to run rougher rivers.
KayakDIY take: A packraft opens up water you could never carry a hard kayak to. To compare boats, see all my kayak reviews.
