The frame is black powder coat over pre-galvanized steel, and the whole trailer is fully submersible, so you can back it down a ramp. It comes with a reinforced steel tongue, plug-and-play submersible LED lights, sealed hubs and adjustable load bars, but no kayak carriers. Assembly takes about three to four hours with common tools.

KayakDIY take: A base trailer leaves room to set up carriers the way your boats need. For the gear side, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
