The XT shares the MicroSport frame, 78″ load bars and 800 lb rating, then adds aluminum spoke wheels, diamond plate aluminum fenders and a retractable tongue kit. The tongue kit shortens the trailer and lets it stand on end on the included rear bumpers. Lights are DOT approved plug-and-play LED.

Good to know
- Measure your garage before buying; the retractable tongue is the main reason to choose the XT over the base trailer.
- Carriers are not part of this listing, so plan your kayak racks separately.
KayakDIY take: If storage space is the problem, the retractable tongue is the feature that matters here. For more options, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
