Each loop has a soft, injection-molded T-body that sits behind the hood or hatch seam, with a polyester webbing loop sticking out to clip your bow or stern line to. One goes up front and one at the back, so you can run safety lines without hunting for frame points.

KayakDIY take: Bow and stern lines are non-negotiable for me, and these give you somewhere to tie them. For more gear, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
