You set the bow on the back of the vehicle, walk to the stern and push the kayak up into the SeaWing cradles. The saddles are corrosion-resistant nylon with a low profile for garage clearance, and the universal Jawz hardware installs without tools. Load straps and bow and stern lines come in the box.

KayakDIY take: Rear loading is the easiest way I know to get a kayak on the roof solo. For more gear, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
