The Magic Angler has asymmetrical, slightly curved blades on a wrapped fiberglass shaft for smooth, efficient strokes. A J-notch in the blade frees snagged hooks and lines, and a ruler on the shaft measures fish. The push-button ferrule sets the blades inline or at 60 degrees, and drip rings help keep you dry.
Specs at a glance
- Sizes: 230, 240, 250, 260 cm
- Colors: First Light, Camo, Photic
- Shaft: wrapped fiberglass, straight
- Blade: fiberglass reinforced polypropylene, asymmetrical
- Feather: 0 and 60 degrees, left or right

Good to know
- Go longer for wide fishing kayaks or high seats; shorter suits narrower boats and low seats.
- Break it down after salt trips and rinse the ferrule so the push button doesn’t stick.
KayakDIY take: A light paddle makes a noticeable difference on long paddles to the fishing spot. For more gear ideas, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
