YakAttack pairs 1 in polyester webbing with a cam buckle and two rubber-coated J-hooks, so you can hook straight onto tie-down points instead of looping the strap. Polyester stretches less and handles UV and water better than common polypropylene straps, and a rubber buckle cover helps protect the hull.

Specs at a glance

  • Length: 15 ft
  • Webbing: 1 in wide polyester
  • Hooks: rubber-coated J-hooks
  • Buckle: cam buckle with rubber cover
  • Pack: single strap
  • Warranty: YakAttack Built for Life Guarantee

Good to know

  • Most kayaks need at least two straps, so this single pack may need doubling up.
  • Snug the cam buckle by hand; cam straps avoid the over-tightening that ratchets can cause on plastic hulls.

KayakDIY take: Hooks on the strap ends save a lot of fumbling at a truck bed. For more gear I’d keep in the truck, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
