The SwitchBlade uses a hydrodynamic blade shape to cut down gurgle and drag, and the patented arm folds up when not in use. The arms can be cut to length, or the middle section removed, to fit nearly any kayak and set transducer depth for side scan. Hardware for deck mounting or CellBlok attachment is included.
Specs at a glance
- Mounting: gear track, deck or YakAttack CellBlok
- Compatibility: YakAttack MightyMount, GearTrac and most Scotty, RAM and YakGear track
- Includes: hardware for deck mounting or CellBlok attachment
- Not included: fish finder, transducer, GearTrac, LockNLoad Mounting System
Good to know
- FeelFree, 3 Water and Jonny Boats kayaks need an adapter for track mounting.
- Test-fit the transducer depth on your boat before trimming the arm, since you can’t add length back.
KayakDIY take: An over-the-side arm is the no-drill way to get a transducer in the water, and folding it up keeps it out of the way at the launch. For more options, see my kayak fish finder guide.
