The Power Panel Switching System has five switched outlets for the bow, mid-ship, stern and two accessory circuits. Each button lights red when on, and a master button shuts down the whole system. It plugs into the Yak Power Power Pack Battery Box or Battery Terminal Pigtails with no cutting or splicing.
Specs at a glance
- Outlets: 5 (bow, mid-ship, stern, ACC 1, ACC 2)
- Control panel: waterproof, illuminated, master power button
- Total current: designed for 15A
- Power: plugs into Power Pack Battery Box or Battery Terminal Pigtails
- Optional: Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Pro and Elite FS wireless control (needs YP-RP5-RFBTM module, sold separately, and Lowrance software update)
Good to know
- High-current gear like a trolling motor needs a separate YP-LDR50 heavy-duty relay and the right wire gauge.
- Push connectors fully together and keep red (+) matched to red (+) through the system.
KayakDIY take: A switch panel turns a mess of battery leads into something you can actually manage on the water. For more options, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
