What’s in this video

This is my favorite air fryer fried fish recipe. I keep it simple: fresh fish fillets, Danos seasoning and plain bread crumbs (panko is a good choice too). The fish needs to be damp so the breading and seasoning stick.

I set the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on how thick the fillets are. A lot of people coat fillets in egg and a flour mix first, but I feel that robs flavor from some fish, so I skip it. Season and bread to your own taste. The ingredients I use are gluten free.

Quick takeaways

  • Cook at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on fillet thickness.
  • Keep the fillets damp so the seasoning and bread crumbs stick.
  • Skipping the egg and flour coat keeps more of the fish flavor.
  • Plain bread crumbs or panko both work.
