What’s in this video

The Blu3 NEMO is an ultra portable dive system, similar to scuba but usually called hookah (surface supplied air). It gives one diver about 1 hour of diving at 10 ft, and it’s TSA approved, so you can take it anywhere. Blu3 is part of Brownies Marine Group, the long time makers of Third Lung hookah systems.

At the time, Blu3 planned three systems: NEMO for shallow water at 10 ft (3 m), NOMAD at about 25 ft (7.6 m), and NEPTUNE for up to 3 divers at about 30 ft (9 m).

Quick takeaways

  • NEMO: one diver, about 1 hour, 10 ft max depth.
  • It's TSA approved, so it can fly with you.
  • NOMAD (about 25 ft) and NEPTUNE (up to 3 divers, about 30 ft) were announced as bigger options.
