What’s in this video

I filmed this just a mile from my house in Cape Coral, FL, where the Army Corps of Engineers met to talk about Lake Okeechobee discharges. Fertilizer runoff from sugar farms, commercial and some residential properties loads Lake O with phosphorus and nitrogen, and those discharges have polluted our waterways.

That nutrient pollution has stretched red tide, which normally runs October to February, out to 10 months. It’s been going on for years and it keeps getting worse. Wildlife can’t read no swimming signs. I’m asking people to share this so the right people hear it.
