Native Slayer Propel 12 LT: A Lightweight Pedal Fishing Kayak
I check out the Native Slayer Propel 12 LT, one of the lightest pedal kayaks on the market for its size, and what it weighs fully rigged.
What’s in this video
The Native Slayer Propel 12 LT is all about weight. The fitted hull is 63 lbs without the Propel pedal drive or the seat. The drive weighs 14 lbs, and with the seat and drive installed it comes to 82 lbs total. That makes it one of the lightest pedal kayaks on the market for its size.
It’s 12 feet long and 31 inches wide with a 350 lb capacity. If you load your kayak by yourself or carry it to the water, that weight is a big deal.
Quick takeaways
- Hull weight is 63 lbs, and the Propel drive adds 14 lbs.
- Fully fitted with seat and drive, it weighs 82 lbs.
- Specs: 12' long, 31" wide, 12" deep, 350 lb capacity.
