Seigler BF Lever Drag Fly Reel for Big Game Kayak Fly Fishing
I look at the Seigler BF lever drag fly reel, known online as the FluffChucker, and why it was my favorite reel revealed at ICAST.
What’s in this video
This lever drag fly reel felt like a work of art, with precision machined, American made parts. On social media it was known as the FluffChucker, and at ICAST it was revealed as the BF (Big Fly). It turned a lot of heads, and it was my favorite reel at the show.
Wes Seigler has been building some of the most innovative machined reels out there, under names like Truth Reels and Release Reels, and the quality has never changed. If you want American made reels or have a custom reel need, this is the company. I look for companies thinking outside the box, and Wes has done that since he started.
Quick takeaways
- The BF is a lever drag fly reel built for big fish.
- It's precision machined from American made components.
- Seigler can also help with custom reel needs.
