Vibe Kayaks Lineup: SeaGhost, Yellowfin 130T, 100 and Maverick
I go past the popular SeaGhost 130 and look at the other Vibe kayaks you might not know about: the Maverick, Yellowfin 130T and Yellowfin 100.
What’s in this video
Vibe got popular fast on the SeaGhost 130. All over social media I heard good reviews on it and how much you get for the price. But Vibe has other boats worth a look, so at ICAST 2018 I went through them.
First is the Maverick, a SUP and kayak hybrid. The hull is foam injected so it’s unsinkable. I call it the Boston Whaler of kayaks for reliability and fishability. Next is the Yellowfin 130T, which you can paddle tandem or solo. Last is the Yellowfin 100, a 10 ft throw and go kayak with what most anglers want at a low price point. When I think of Vibe I think value.
Key moments
Quick takeaways
- The Maverick hull is foam injected, so it's unsinkable.
- The Yellowfin 130T paddles tandem or solo, so one boat covers both.
- The Yellowfin 100 is a 10 ft throw and go option if you want something small and low priced.
