Custom SlideTrax Milk Crate Build for Kayak Fishing
I build a custom kayak fishing crate using a SlideTrax kit on a milk crate, then add rod holders, mounts and a 12v livewell.
What’s in this video
I start with planning, then assemble a SlideTrax kit onto a large 20 inch milk crate (it also fits the common 19 7/8 inch crates). The kit adds storage options and sets the crate up for fishing.
Next I add fishing accessories: rod holders and mounts. Then I set up a 12v battery powered aerator for a bait tank built from a 5 gallon bucket with a screw top lid. This crate was built for one of our new kayaks at the shop, and the Elie Coast 120XE is in the background.
