Cheap Pelican Kayak Rigging Mods: Tracks, Rod Holder and Anchor
My wife Katie shows how she rigged her Pelican Trailblazer 100 sit inside kayak with tracks, holders and a cheap anchor pole system.
What’s in this video
My wife Katie wanted to try making a tutorial on how she’d rig her sit inside kayak, a Pelican Trailblazer 100 that was $179 at the time. She loves this lightweight 10 ft kayak and used it a year with no mods. She made a list of what she wanted and found the parts, some name brand pieces from a local consignment store and the rest online.
She installs Scotty low profile tracks with rivets, a Scotty flush mount, rigs the anchor line and goes over the anchor pole system. She’s usually shy on camera, so this one was brave of her.
