Bonafide EX123 Sit-Inside Kayak and New FlexWing for SS127/SS107
I test the Bonafide EX123, a sit-inside kayak stable enough to stand and fish from, and check out the new FlexWing for the SS127 and SS107.
What’s in this video
The Bonafide EX123 takes the best of a sit-inside kayak and blends in a favorite sit-on-top feature: stability. It paddles beautifully, and it’s stable enough that I could stand up and fish from it without much effort. For reference, I’m 6ft 2in and 200lbs, and I felt very comfortable standing.
The seat was very comfortable and there’s tons of storage, so I think it would be excellent for expeditions and camping. It has an aggressive, unconventional look, but that shape is why it performs so well against more traditional sit-insides. I also show the new FlexWing, which improves paddling performance on the SS127 and SS107. Pre-production specs listed the EX123 at $999 MSRP at the time of the video.
