What camera or cameras do you take out on the water while you are filming.? I left GoPro because of issues they would have and went to the Insta360 line up. I have the Go Ultra on my hat, the Ace Pro 2 behind me as an over the shoulder shot, and the X5 basically front and center so it can get action from any angle.

I still run 2 GoPro Hero 8’s, one in front (facing me) and one in back (over the shoulder). I haven’t had any issues with them in my 6 years of use. I do plug them into battery packs instead of using their batteries so they don’t overheat.

I’d love to try the Insta’s, but their lack of “waterproofness” (is that a word?) has me leery of taking them on the water.

I use iPhone for a lot on a MagSafe magnetic neck mount for POV shots. For everything else I love the X-series cameras by Insta360. These were done with X5, but soon I will upgrade to X6 Insta 360 camera.

I use the 9.8ft carbon fiber selfie stick with Insta360 camera to get drone like shots of kayaks.
