The SK470 is Saturn’s standard 15 ft KaBoat, blending a kayak-like hull with the stability and motor option of a small skiff. It is rated for an outboard up to 10 hp. For harder use, the SK470XL version adds a thicker bottom.
Specs at a glance
- Length: 15 ft
- Capacity: 3 adults plus 1 child
- Max motor: 10 hp outboard
- Type: inflatable KaBoat micro skiff
Good to know
- Check with the retailer what is included, such as benches, oars and motor mount, before ordering.
- Use a cart or a second person to move a 15 ft inflatable from the car to the launch.
KayakDIY take: Compare this with the SK470XL so you know whether the heavier bottom is worth it for you. For more options, see my inflatable boat reviews.
