The SD488 uses 1100 denier Heytex PVC tubes with heat-welded seams, a fiberglass-covered transom and an anodized aluminum floor. It carries up to 2,400 lbs and takes an outboard up to 40 hp on a 15 in shaft. Three aluminum bench seats, T-paddles, two carry bags, a repair kit and a hand pump are included.
