The Avalon Carbon Angler Pro pairs an adjustable carbon fiber shaft with fiberglass-reinforced nylon dihedral blades for smooth strokes. It has a built-in lure retriever, a dock pull ledge and a 40 inch ruler printed on the shaft. The adjustable length suits wide kayaks, high seat positions and sight fishing.

Good to know
- The title and the maker’s text list different length ranges, so confirm the range on the retailer page if you need the short end.
- The printed ruler is handy for quick checks, but use an approved board for tournament measurements.
KayakDIY take: Wide boats and high seats need a longer paddle, and adjustability lets you dial it in instead of guessing. For more options, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
