The Deluxe Rack uses load-assist pivot arms so one person can lift a boat in, then suspends it on straps on its side, which is the hull’s strongest point. It works with Suspenz modular free-standing frames that hold up to six boats, and comes in two finishes.
Specs at a glance
- Capacity: up to 125 lb
- Reach: 22″ from the wall
- Material: powder-coated steel
- Finishes: Safety Yellow or Marine Grade Black (stainless hardware)
- Option: quick-release wall bracket (sold separately)
Good to know
- Both finishes are steel underneath, so the maker warns they will rust in salt spray. Keep them out of salty air if you can.
- Add the quick-release bracket if you want to move the rack between storage spots.
KayakDIY take: Storing boats on edge in straps is easy on the hull through the off-season. For more storage ideas, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
