The Telos XL attaches to the vehicle and lets you ratchet a kayak up vertically until it lines up with the carrier. The DownLoader is a fold-down J-style carrier with a boarding ramp and Jawz2 universal hardware. The lift detaches so you can store it in the trunk or move it to load a second boat. A roof rack is required.

Good to know
- You need a roof rack with crossbars already installed. This bundle is the lift and carrier, not the bars.
- Check your rigged kayak weight against the 75 lb limit before relying on the lift.
KayakDIY take: A lift assist is worth a look if loading overhead is getting hard. For more transport gear, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
