The Hullavator Pro’s double extending arms lower the cradles up to 40 in down the side of the vehicle, and gas struts take about 40 lb of the boat’s weight as you lift it back up. Expandable cradles with eight padded touch points fit wide kayaks, and straps plus QuickDraw bow and stern tie-downs are included.

KayakDIY take: Loading from the side at waist height is the easiest way to roof a kayak alone. For more gear, see my fishing kayak accessories guide.
