Testing Hobie Pedal Kayaks: Pro Angler 360, iTrek and Passport 12
I tested a lineup of Hobie pedal kayaks, from the 360 degree Pro Angler 360 to the light iTrek inflatables and the Passport 12.
What’s in this video
I got to test a whole lineup of Hobie pedal kayaks. That included the Pro Angler 360, which pedals 360 degrees, the new iTrek 9 and iTrek 11 inflatables, and the Passport 12 in bay sand. I also took out the proven Compass and Outback models that have been around a few years. Hobie also had a four person pedal kayak and a lightweight 20 lb pedal kayak.
We tried some accessories too, like the new Lowrance Elite FS fish finder and Power-Pole systems. Kayak fishing keeps growing, and Hobie is a leader in it. You might be surprised which one ended up my favorite.
Quick takeaways
- The Pro Angler 360 can pedal in any direction, not just forward and back.
- The iTrek 9 and iTrek 11 are Hobie's inflatable pedal options for portability.
