What’s in this video

This is a quick look at several useful homemade GoPro camera mounts I’ve made for kayaking. The video opens with my Scotty mounted camera setup, which has its own video.

The main build is a Shur-line telescoping painter’s pole with a ClickSnap painter’s pole camera adapter and a GoPro tripod adapter, which I found cheaper online than in store. I also show a suction cup mount and a clamp mount.

Quick takeaways

  • A telescoping painter's pole, a ClickSnap camera adapter and a GoPro tripod adapter make a simple camera pole.
  • Suction cup and clamp mounts are two more easy options.
  • GoPro tripod adapters were cheaper online than in store at the time of the video.
