Scuba Diving From Kayaks for Fossils in a Florida Creek
I team up with iHUNTdeadThings and friends to scuba dive from kayaks in a Florida creek, hunting fossils and shark teeth.
What’s in this video
I wasn’t planning on finding this. I teamed up with YouTuber iHUNTdeadThings (Mike) and friends Keith and David to scuba dive from kayaks in a beautiful central Florida creek, hunting fossils and shark teeth like megalodon. I paddled my Riot Mako 10 and dove with a Mantus Marine mini scuba system.
We arrive at the creek, start the dive search and discover a boneyard. Many finds were bone fragments, but some were nearly whole. We identify the finds, review the day’s haul, and I go over my gear during a lunch break. These waters are full of wildlife, especially alligators.
