Pelican Catch PWR 100: Trolling Motor or Gas Outboard Kayak
I look over the Pelican Catch PWR 100, a hybrid kayak that can run either a trolling motor or a small gas outboard.
What’s in this video
So is it a kayak or a bass boat? I don’t care what you call it, it looks like a blast. The Pelican Catch PWR 100 comes pre-wired for trolling motors and has a transom mount rated for a 2.5hp gas outboard. I go over the dimensions, features, cargo area and built-in wheels, then take a look on the water.
The one shown is a prototype and subject to change, with release expected early 2020 from what I saw. The closest competitor I can think of is the Jonny Boat Bass 100, but Pelican has wider distribution, so a Catch PWR may be easier to find in a store near you.
