Pelican Catch PWR 100 On-Water Test: Kayak and Bass Boat Hybrid
I put the Pelican Catch PWR 100 prototype on the water to see how this kayak and bass boat hybrid really performs.
What’s in this video
This is my on-water test of the Pelican Catch PWR 100, filmed around ICAST 2019. The boat I ran was a prototype at the time of filming, so details could change before release. It’s a kayak and bass boat hybrid: you can paddle it or you can power it.
Here’s what I found. Performance on the water was impressive for a boat like this, and the 360 degree seat gave me easy access to the whole kayak, front to back. If you want the walkthrough and specs, check out my other video on the Catch PWR 100.
Quick takeaways
- You can paddle the Catch PWR 100 or run it with power, so one hull covers both styles.
- The 360 degree seat makes it easy to reach the entire kayak without shifting around.
- The boat in this video was a prototype, so final production details may differ.
