This Cruise 6.0 R is built for heavy use, with a rugged aluminum pylon and integral fin for grounding protection and better saltwater corrosion resistance. It uses TorqLink data communication and connects to standard remote steering. It needs at least one Power 48-5000 lithium battery or lead batteries, and the throttle is sold separately.

KayakDIY take: This is outboard power for real boats, not something you’d hang on a kayak. For kayak-sized motors, see my best kayak motors guide.
