I check out the Bixpy Jet at ICAST 2017, a small modular motor that moves between kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling and scuba using the same unit.
What’s in this video
The Bixpy is a modular motor system that lets you use the same motor across a bunch of watersports. It’s small but packs a punch through its 10 speeds. The lightweight battery and the remote both float, which gives you extra peace of mind. It uses a NASA inspired prop, stainless and corrosion resistant parts, and a brushless motor for efficiency and long life.
We’ve been following Bixpy’s development for well over a year, so I was excited to see it at ICAST 2017. I’m hoping to get one with some mounts so I can test it further.
