Bixpy K1 Jet Motor for Kayaks, Paddle Boards and iSUPs
I share the launch of the Bixpy K1, the next version of the small modular motor I've used for years on kayaks and paddle boards.
What’s in this video
Bixpy has a new motor, the K1. I was one of Bixpy’s first customers when they released their first motor, so I’ve been following them for at least five years. The K1 builds on the J1 and J2. It’s two inches shorter, weighs only 2.8 pounds, puts out more power than the J1 and J2, and it’s quieter because of the smaller shaft size. The body is anodized aluminum with glass filled nylon or a specialized ABS for the rest of the housing. They say they made more than 140 improvements, including upgraded electronics and easier connector nuts.
The K1 Outboard kit includes the motor, the 4th generation PP378 battery, a Bluetooth controller, kill switch and charger. The K1 Angler Pro kit swaps in the larger PP768 battery for bigger boats. Bixpy now has more than 20 plug and play adapters, so it fits hundreds of kayaks, paddle boards and small watercraft. It launched through an Indiegogo campaign.
