Pedal Kayaks · Fishing
The NuCanoe Unlimited is less a kayak and more a blank canvas for a fishing machine. At 12 feet 6 inches with a 41-inch beam and a 650-pound max capacity, it is built to be paddled, pedaled, or powered, and this tournament package from Eco Fishing Shop sets it up as a ready-to-compete platform.

Who This Package Is For
This is for the tournament angler or serious weekend competitor who wants one platform that can do everything: pedal drive for hands-free fishing, a trolling motor or even a small outboard for covering water, and room for full electronics. If you fish multiple trails with different rules, the Unlimited’s flexibility is the point.
Stability and Deck Layout
The Unlimited’s canoe-kayak hybrid hull is wide, tall-sided, and remarkably stable. The open deck is the star: 273 inches of top-load aluminum track lets you mount rod holders, electronics, anchors, and power systems wherever you want. It is a solo or tandem boat, so you can bring a partner or load it like a floating tackle shop. Standing to cast is easy thanks to the wide, flat deck.
Comfort and Seat
The 360 Fusion Seat rotates, which is a nice touch when you are managing rods around the boat or netting a fish. It sits high enough for good visibility and pedaling clearance. The tall gunwales give you a feeling of being in the boat rather than on top of it, which a lot of anglers prefer in rough water.
Propulsion Options
Here is where the Unlimited earns its name. The hull is plug-and-play ready for NuCanoe’s Pivot pedal drive, the EPS electric trolling motor system, bow-mount motors like the Xi3, or even a small outboard up to 2.5 hp. The Tarpon drainage system with seven scuppers keeps the deck dry, and wiring access plates make electronics installs clean. Pedal drives and motors are typically sold separately, so check what this specific tournament package includes before you buy.
Honest Drawbacks
Flexibility comes with weight and cost. The hull alone is 84 pounds, and a fully rigged tournament build with motor, batteries, and electronics gets heavy fast. For the battery, I recommend the WattCycle 12V 100Ah mini LiFePO4 battery with Bluetoothit runs most 12V trolling motors up to 55lb thrust plus a fish finder, and it’s compact and light. You will want a trailer or a good cart. A loaded-down Unlimited is also not the fastest hull, and all that open deck can catch wind on blustery days. Finally, once you add propulsion and electronics, the total investment climbs well past the hull price, so budget honestly.
