Homemade PVC Kayak Camera Pole and a 360 Camera vs GoPro
I build a homemade kayak camera pole out of PVC and a bolt, mount it with Railblaza, and show my 360 VR camera setup.
What’s in this video
I wanted a camera pole for my kayak without spending much, so I made one. It’s 1/2 inch PVC pipe, two PVC caps and a 1/4″-20 by 3/4″ bolt with a lock nut. I drill a 1/4 inch hole through the two caps, attach them to the pipe, and it connects to a Railblaza adapter so it plugs into the mounts on my Viking Profish Reload.
I also show how I modified the Railblaza camera boom to work with my new 360 VR camera. If your kayak doesn’t have mounts, track mounts and a track adapter will get you there.
