NuCanoe Frontier 12 and Pursuit Kayaks with Accessories at ICAST 2016
I interview NuCanoe owner Blake Young at ICAST 2016 about the Frontier 12, the new Pursuit and their compatible accessories.
What’s in this video
At ICAST 2016 I got to hang out with Blake Young, the owner of NuCanoe, and he was a lot of fun. He even gave me a flash drive of footage so I could show you more of what NuCanoe offers. I already knew the brand well. The Frontier 12 has long been considered the most stable kayak in its class, and I’d say it’s one of the most versatile for rigging.
The new Pursuit was exciting. It has the same versatility as the Frontier with a slimmer profile, but don’t let that fool you, it shares the same stability. My friend and editor at The Fisherman’s Journal owns one and loves it. If you want a stand-up kayak you can rig for anything, check these out.
Quick takeaways
- The Frontier 12 is known for stability and is one of the most versatile kayaks to rig.
- The Pursuit has a slimmer profile than the Frontier but keeps the same stability.
- Both work with NuCanoe's compatible accessories, so you can set them up for different kinds of fishing.
