The Kayak Terrova steers electrically and uses GPS to hold position with Spot-Lock, record paths and run AutoPilot, all from the included Micro Remote. Stow and deploy are manual, using a lever that slides the motor down fall-away ramps. It connects to select fish finders over the One-Boat Network and comes in freshwater and saltwater Riptide versions.

Good to know
- Choose the Saltwater (Riptide Terrova) option if you fish the coast; the standard Kayak Terrova is listed for freshwater.
- At 40.5 lb plus a 12V battery, this adds real weight to the bow, so check your kayak’s capacity and plan on a cart for launching.
KayakDIY take: GPS anchoring on a kayak means you can fish a spot instead of fighting the wind to stay on it. For more options, see my best kayak motors guide.
