Why I like Yak Power for kayak wiring
Yak Power makes power easy to install on a kayak. You run your fish finder, lights and more from their controllers, and on some systems you can control them from your phone or your fish finder. The big thing for me is that everything fastens to the hull from the outside, so you are not reaching deep inside the kayak, which makes installs in tight spaces a lot easier. Accessories plug in with common 2 pin SAE connectors, and there is an SAE adapter for your fish finder power cable.
The self-tapping button lights are some of my favorite products: small but wicked bright. Yak Power switching even comes factory installed on some kayaks now, like the Vibe Sea Ghost 105 WRD I covered at ICAST.

Do Yak Power kits need hull access to install?
No. Yak Power parts fasten to the hull from the outside, so you do not have to reach deep inside the kayak. That is the main reason I like them for tight spaces.
What connectors does Yak Power use?
Common 2 pin SAE connectors. There is an SAE adapter for your fish finder power cable, plus USB and Y adapters.
